North Hill Country Club is owned by the Town of Duxbury. The course was converted from a farm into a golf course in 1965 by John Merry. The red barn between holes 1 and 2 was part of the Merry Farm.
During the past seven years, many improvements have been made to the golf course including a new irrigation system, bunker renovation and conversion to bent grass fairways. JGM also designed and built the new clubhouse which opened in March 2001.
Publinx Magazine has ranked North Hill among the best 9-hole courses in Massachusetts.
